PBIS

Orange Cove High School prides itself in being a Positive Behavior Interventions Supports (PBIS) school.

PBIS is an approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students.  PBIS is a prevention-oriented way for school personnel to organize evidence-based practices, improve their implementation of those practices and maximize academic and social behavior outcomes for students.

At OCHS, our PBIS behavior expectations of all students is that they be present, prepared, responsible, respectful, and safe.

 The OCHS Titan Creed:

We do not settle for mediocrity. We succeed with accountability and integrity. We never fail because we never give up. We make no excuses. We are proud of who we are and what we represent. We choose to live honestly and honorably. We respect ourselves and others. We are grateful for what we have and where we are. We have a responsibility to our families, community, and world. We believe in ourselves. We believe in each other. We believe in OC...You Know!

Our OCHS students are amazing and we enjoy celebrating their successes. Students can earn Titan Tokens from our OCHS staff members daily for exemplifying what it is to be a Titan and meeting our behavior expectations. Titan Tokens may be redeemed for a front of the lunch line pass, as well as submitted to be entered into a prize drawing. Prizes such as spirit shirts or Titan Gear are given on a weekly basis and at our school assemblies.

Each month we also recognize our Titans for Excellence.  Students and staff members are chosen to participate in a luncheon to celebrate their positive behavior at school.

OCHS was recognized by the Fresno County Office of Education as a "Model School" and were the winners of the:
